Located in the heart of the University Quarter
and determined
to keep charges as low as possible - in defiance of a world that seems determined to maximise
profit at the expense of service - accommodation in the Bruce Hotel is often
fully booked by visiting professors and academics, many regular businessmen and
workers, parents visiting students, as well as golfers and those on holiday.
We accept enquiries and take bookings by email and telephone.

We find, however, that a telephone enquiry is often quicker and more
satisfactory. We can usually let people know straight away if suitable
accommodation is available for any period.

Our rates
are:
Single Room £25
Twin/double Room £22 per person
Family Room £60
- all rates include breakfast.
The Proprietor, Mrs. Alexa Olliffe, looks forward to welcoming
you.
At present we are unable accept credit or debit card payment. Guests pay when they
leave.
We do not usually charge a deposit or Booking Fee. We
prefer to trust the honesty and integrity of guests. We are not often
disappointed.
We are required
by Law to observe a strict no-smoking policy.
